Dearest Daddy,
Time passes fast. People have to face it one day, but i didn't expect it to be so soon. Dad, the struggle is over and I know you had tried your best to keep yourself strong and stay alive. To you everyday is a never-ending battle. I miss the time you kept bugging us to bring you down to the park for a stroll at 5pm. I miss the time you kept calling us for any needs and help. I miss the time you kept asking me to scratch your back for you. If time can be returned, i will make sure that you don't do the bugging, calling and asking, for i will, come to you. Why can't time just stop for a minute to let us reflects upon ourselves. Daddy, the only regret i had is that we didn't get to see you for the last time. You chose to go thats what the doctors and nurses said when they tried to rescue you for the last 45 mins. They said you didn't struggle. Why didn't you tell us that you are leaving. You knew it right. You drank a glass of water and left without any last words for all of us. I know the reason, for you didn't want us to cry when you leave. You rather leave in peace. Daddy, I'm sorry and thank you for being the best of the best daddy ! Did you felt my three kisses on your forehand and the sayang i gave to you on your cheeks that i used to do to you when you left for work ? The nurses said that you can hear and feel what we said or did to you. Daddy, i really wonder how are you now. Are you that star that twinkles every night near my bedroom window? Are you that white butterfly on that five days of your funeral ? But one thing that i am really sure about is that you are and will watch over us. Daddy, I promise you i will be a good girl, listen to mummy and korkor. I will take care of myself and xiaomei. I will be strong and stay happy. Always keeping you in my mind and deep down bottom of my heart. I will make sure i do well and try my best in everything. Never give up and perservere. When i misses you badly, one thing i will do is to eat banana - your favourite.
Oh DADDY, i miss you and love you. I know you will also thinks of us up there. In the night, i will look for you in that big dark blue sky and wish you goodnight before i turn in to bed. On your birthday, i will tie a note to the string of the balloon and fly it up to the sky. Look out for it Daddy ! God Bless YOU!
